You’re excited that you are finally pregnant, but then after your first Ultrasound, the doctor informs you that you have having twins or more (multiple birth).
What do you do…
There are a number of reactions possible, great I get it over and done in one hit, Thoughts are rushing through your mind…. then it HITS YOU….
OMG how will I cope with little or no sleep, the more the merrier. But one thing is sure, you will need to double up on everything, that includes purchasing a multiple birth pram so that you can fit both of your bundle of joys into a single pram.
There are several choices available with multiple birth babies such as twins, the first option is buy 2 prams, 2 strollers etc
Two Prams for Twins
Purchasing two separate prams or strollers is the simpliest solution, you get to choose the brand that you love and the colors that your your fashion sense. Great solutions with many options.
Disadvantages Are that it is two separate prams meaning you most likely will not get them both into your boot & trying to steer two prams when you are shopping alone is difficult if not impossible.

Multiple Birth – Duet Prams
Duet praams are sometimes called twin prams, or Duo prams for the simple reason that they are two prams side by side with just one handle to control the whole pram.
However because the prams are side by side, this means that Duet prams tend to be rather wide, which may cause problems when going down the shopping aisles or going through a small checkout aisle.
Many parents usually take the larger checkouts near the self serve checkouts. However there is a disturbing trend of some cafe owners making the entrance to their cafe smaller so that duet prams cannot go inside….one huge advantage is that both children can see each other.
Multiple birth – Tandem Prams
The Tandem pram is not solely intended for twins but it is also suitable for parents of multiple (birth) children that are reasonably close in age.
This means that it is possible to have a new born in a capsule and a toddler in a seat, unfortunately one will be either behind the other or above the other child. The Tandem pram is narrow and you will find that you can get into most places as you can with a single pram.
